Here you will find all the details for the Polestar Gardens Winter Holiday Program
Sunday – Dec. 18
9 am to 5 pm
This is a spiritual highlight of the year beginning at 9 am at the Polestar temple. The morning session includes chanting and longer periods of meditation and the afternoon more chanting, readings, and selections of inspiring music. This has been a transformational experience for all who have participated!
Polestar Christmas Service and Kirtan
Wednesday – Dec. 21
Sacred ceremony, kirtan, and meditation followed by great company, food and a special surprise – hope to see you there!
Caroling at Veterans Home and Hospital
Saturday – Dec. 24
time to be announced (late morning)
Join our caroling group to help share the Christmas spirit with our larger community: we’ll meet at the Subway in Pahoa (time to be announced) and carpool into Hilo from there.
New Year's Eve Celebration
Saturday – Dec 31 4 pm to 1 am
Join us for an evening of music, great food, community art, fire ceremony, sacred circle dancing and more as we welcome in the new year.
New Year's Retreat
Wednesday – Jan. 4 5:00 pm
Join us for chanting, storytelling, potluck and a showing of the documentary film about his life: Awake
Yogananda's Birthday Celebration & Service
Sunday – Jan. 8
We’ll celebrate this joyous occasion with a service at 10:30 am including storytelling, chanting, and ceremony, followed by potluck lunch and open house. Hope to see you there!
