Kirtan (sacred music) & Potluck
5 pm to 7:45 pm
‘Kirtan’ at Polestar is a celebration of sacred music. We draw on our rich tradition of songs from Yogananda, his teachers, gurubais, and students, and also from sacred offerings from many different cultures. Most of these chants are simple, repetitive words but with the meditative power to transform our consciousness: chanting in a group can bring a heart-opening, soul awakening Joy! Come early for guided energization and meditation. The music starts at 5:45 followed by a vegetarian potluck dinner at 7PM.
Open to all ages and skill-levels, Polestar’s weekly Volleyball is always a blast. Come and experience the fun and joy of this energetic and accessible sport.
