“The purpose of this life is to find your Self; know your Self; feel the ocean of Divine Presence in your heart.”

Dear Friends,
Love and Greetings from Polestar! Just a quick note to say hello and announce an important upcoming event.
Those of you who have visited us on the Big Island over the years may remember that most Monday nights were dedicated to our ongoing Raja Yoga Classes – a time to connect with each other, re-focus on the most important things in our lives, and draw inspiration from the vast teachings of Yoga. Back by popular demand, we are beginning these satsangs again with a 6 week online class series starting Sunday Oct. 18th. Whether you are new to the philosophy and practices of yoga or a veteran meditator – please join us! The fall is a perfect time for a more inward focus and the class will include values clarification, introspection and journaling, meditation and pranayama and much more. See flier below and please share this note with anyone you think might be interested!
In other Polestar news, we are happy to report that new energy is moving on the Big Island campus and we expect to have a functioning, ‘quarantine bubble’ there by early next year. Within current pandemic guidelines, we are open for visitors and also have work trade possibilities as well. Our new Colorado Campus is still our main objective, though with little progress so far due to world conditions! Much more about both of these projects in an upcoming newsletter. We pray that each of you is well and meeting all the challenges of the day with Grace, humility and poise.
Blessings and Aloha,
Michael for Polestar

Despite being about a hundred yards from the lava ‘river’ and immersed in toxic fumes for months, one of our hives survived the volcano. Mahalo to Georgia Putnam and all the other bee-ings, who continue to bring such sweetness into our lives!
