Greetings from Fort Collins!
Our Hawaii property has officially sold to a wonderful group of like-minded souls who are looking to start a community and healing center. Though we handed off the “keys” this week, Bernadette and Rich have been invited to stay during the transition to guide the new owners in stewarding this special land.
Meanwhile, in Fort Collins, we had our first meeting with the city recently and our Planning & Design Team confirms that all is going well. As we continue to settle in CO, we look forward to more in-person and online gatherings to connect and further cultivate the Polestar Village vision with all of you!

Aloha from Colorado!
We are happy to announce that we have landed in Fort Collins. Our first two weeks here have been a blur of unpacking, garage sailing, walks around the beautiful property, (Ann and I have rented a home directly adjacent to Happy Heart Farm), and endless meetings with architects, engineers, developers, and city officials. Though we remember our life in paradise with great fondness, (not untinged with sadness for having left it!), we are enthused to be embracing the adventure and challenges of the new Polestar Village in Colorado.
So far, we have been met with a great deal of friendliness, interest and encouragement. Prompted by the Covid realities of this past year, more people than ever seem to understand this impulse to put more intention and conscious design into the communities and neighborhoods we live in. Fort Collins is perfect for a visionary undertaking such as this and we are meeting many people who share our values.
As most of you know, Polestar is seeking loans and investments to make this project a reality. For those who have been ready to invest, we appreciate your patience! We are on schedule to complete all the documentation by the first week in September and we will keep you posted as this all unfolds.
Mahalo to each of you for all your love and friendship that has provided so much comfort as we have navigated these past few tumultuous years We hope to see you in Colorado soon!

Meet Fort Collins: Willow Drake!
We first met Willow when she inquired about Polestar Hawaii and possibly moving there with her husband and two small children. We were disappointed to let her know we were no longer running any programs, busy preparing the land for sale…but delighted to learn that she lives in Fort Collins! After months of virtual friendship, we are finally in the same place. Willow is a speaker, writer and spiritual healer. She is passionate about allowing her people, who seek to expand their consciousness, space to open their hearts so they may enjoy lives of true prosperity. Willow is a strong believer in strength in community and is always looking to grow positive loving tribes. She is a certified yoga instructor, trained in India, who loves sharing in satsang, linking Christian teachings with Eastern philosophy. She welcomed us here with open arms and is already creating ways for us to help care for our children together through a vision she calls, “The Sisterhood Co-op.” We are so excited to join in community with Willow and her sweet family. Over the last several months, we held several engaging online gatherings, connecting on various topics related to Intentional Community and the vision for Polestar Village, CO. We will continue these meetings this Fall, starting on September 12th- Save the date! More details to follow.
