Dear Friends,
Greetings and Aloha from Polestar! We are sending each of you our warmest thoughts and goodwill. Whatever challenges we face this year, may we bear them with “the courage of a hero and the smile of a conqueror!” Our first newsletter this year covers an update on Polestar Village, upcoming events (see family camp dates this summer!), and the passing of a Great Soul. Sunshine is waxing, spring is coming, and (hopefully) the pandemic is ending. We hope you will visit us in Fort Collins soon!

  • Polestar Village Community Meeting: Sun, Feb 13th. 3PM MT. Join us for a brief update followed by an opportunity for connection, music and more! What would you like to see come to life in this new community? What is most important to you and in what ways would you like to contribute? Let’s share our hopes and dreams…
  • Introduction to Raja Yoga: Sunday, February 27th. 3PM MT. Whether you are new to the science of yoga or a seasoned yogi, you will benefit from this dive into the philosophy and practices of yoga.
  • Polestar’s Annual Family Camp: July 22nd-26th. Save the dates and plan ahead! This year’s gathering will again take place at Rocky Mountain National Park. We’ve already booked a large group camp site and for those who aren’t up for roughing it, nearby accommodations will also include the beautiful YMCA Resort in Estes Park and other Airbnb options nearby. Stay posted for more information next month!

Go With Love…
As most of you know, Thich Nhat Hanh, the venerated Buddhist teacher and Zen Master, passed away last week. This humble monk offered inspiration and solace to millions as he shared his timeless message of unity, love, peace and the sacredness of all life. We send our prayers and blessings to his many students across the globe and are so grateful to have witnessed a life so well lived. May his teachings live on and inspire generations to come.
