Our Vision of Community
Housing for seniors, ‘age-in place’ design, and assisted living facilities are an essential part of our vision for Polestar Village. We have learned so much on this topic and the conversation is ongoing as research and planning continue. So far, we have determined that most or all of our downstairs living areas will be constructed using ‘age-in-place’ design features and we have set aside prime real estate for our assisted living facility. We are inspired by many who are doing creative work in this field (including elder care coops!) and are still discussing how this will all unfold.
