Here at Polestar, we harvest an average of 3,800 (315 dozen!) fresh Hawaiian free range eggs per year from our 50 or so happy chickens. Sometimes, when we introduce new young chickens to the community, they get a little confused as to where to lay their eggs.
Our maintenance manager, Rich Mills, was in the storage shed the other day and when he looked in one of the boxes there, he found a few things that were a little out of place. Can you find them in the picture?
We are happy to report that the young chickens are starting to get comfortable laying their eggs in the coop with the rest of the girls, and that we aren’t finding so many stray eggs in the storage shed!
