Polestar’s Family Campout convenes each summer on the Big Island’s Ho’okena beach.
Four days and three nights of family fun!
Join us for an unforgettable experience on the remote and pristine Ho’okena Beach near Captain Cook. Camping, music, volleyball, snorkeling, dolphins, sailing, visiting with our Polestar Ohana: this event is one of the highlights of our year! And don’t forget our annual “No-Talent Show’ Saturday night with ‘over the top’ hilarity, music, and inspiration. Our cooperative camp kitchen provides ono-licious meals all weekend. Please sign up early to make sure you get a spot!
Costs
Please note that this is a drug and alcohol free event. Also, Polestar does not provide tents, sleeping bags, towels, or flashlights, so please plan on bringing your own.
Camping costs for this weekend include meals, programs, and park fees. Everyone is expected to help pitch in on meal cleanup (and cooking as needed). All meals will have non-dairy and gluten free options.
Polestar will bring our community shade tarp, volleyball net, rafts, canoes, fins, snorkels and countless other recreational items: please bring whatever else you may have to share.
Hope to “see you on the beach” for this coming summer’s edition of Family Campout!
