Polestar Schedule

Ongoing Daily, Weekly and Monthly Events:

 

Monday thru Friday, 6:00 am-7:15 am, Daily Meditation
We have guided group meditations every morning and most evenings in the Polestar Temple. On weekdays we start at 6:00 am with Paramhansa Yogananda's energization exercises followed by chanting and meditation ending at 7:15 am.

Hatha Yoga Sessions
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 5:30 pm, Sunday from 4 to 5pm.

Mondays, 5:30 - 8:15 pm, Raja Yoga Class Series
These classes Sadhana, Kirtan, Chanting, Raja Yoga, Kriya Yoga, meditation, Sacred Music, Life Long Learning at Polestar start at 5:30 with
energization, meditation & dinner - followed by a
discussion of the teachings of
Paramhansa Yogananda as
applied to daily life. Suggested
donation $10. Email or call

Wednesdays, 5:45 pm & 7:00 pm, Kirtan (sacred music) & Potluck
Meditation Krishna, Yogananda, Healing Prayers, Spiritual Meditationstarting at 5:00 pm, chanting at 5:45,
followed by a vegetarian potluck dinner at about
7pm.

Fridays, 4:30 pm, Volleyball. Open to all ages and skill-levels. Experience the fun and joy of this energetic and accessible sport.

Saturdays & Sundays, 6:00-9:00 am, Long Meditation
On weekends we host a three hour meditation starting at 6:00 am (come early for energization / yoga); chanting breaks at 7:30 and 8:30 am, closing with Healing Prayers at  9:00 am, (on rare occasions we end earlier because of other events).

You are also welcome to join us on weekdays for a brief mid-day meditation starting around 12:15 pm.

Fridays, 4:30 pm, Volleyball. Open to all ages and skill-levels. Experience the fun and joy of this energetic and accessible sport.

All-Day Silent Retreat Sundays
Last Sunday of Each Month
8:00 am - 6:30 pm (optional early meditation from 6-8 am)

Once a month, on the last Sunday of the month, we host an all-day silent retreat. Starting at 8:00 am in the morning are led spiritual practice activies (practiced in silence except chanting and prayer): meditation, pranayama, energization exercises, yoga postures, chanting, healing prayers and walking meditations.

In the afternoon after lunch you can enjoy the beauty of our 20 acres, our spiritual library and open temple. There is also a led journaling option. Afternoon sadhana (energization, chanting and meditation) ends the retreat day from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

There is a recommended donation for meals.

Service Projects
We regularly volunteer at service projects throughout Puna and beyond and you are welcome to join the fun. Contact us for a current schedule.
